BIOGRAPHY

From strategic planning to tactical execution in marketing and communications, Tricia has developed a successful career working with employee and B2B audiences across technology, community service, financial, healthcare, manufacturing and a variety of other industries.


With a career spanning more than 20 years, Tricia has held several leadership roles in international organisations including Head of Communications for FranklinCovey ANZ, Global Marketing Communications Leader for Energy Exemplar, Managing Director - Oceania for BI Worldwide and Marketing Manager for Diagnostic Group LLC. She has served on Executive Leadership Teams across these organisations, and her experience includes both developing marketing communication strategies and implementing those plans, always with a focus on measuring results.


In her most recent role as Head of Communications for FranklinCovey, she grew brand awareness and generated leads by redesigning the Australia and New Zealand websites, launching monthly live-online webinars and creating digital campaigns that drew traffic to both. Prior to that, in her role at Energy Exemplar, Tricia increased content subscribers and web traffic by relaunching the brand and rebuilding the marketing communications plan which included annual user conferences, developing product collateral and driving prospect engagement through social media campaigns.


Tricia also spent more than 12 years with BI Worldwide in several roles across both the US and Australia. Her first six years were in Minnesota working in the Healthcare Division as an Account Supervisor where she designed employee engagement and sales performance programs that yielded over $50M in annual recurring revenue. Tricia then moved to Melbourne and became the Director of Solution Design and Delivery where she helped grow the Oceania market by designing employee and sales performance programs, developing a team of account managers and creating thought-leadership content to support the marketing strategy. As a result of these achievements, she was promoted to Managing Director of the region where she led the business development, marketing, events, account management and operations teams. In particular, Tricia’s work in reorganising the company resulted in its first profitable year in three fiscal cycles.


Before her tenure with BI, Tricia was the US Marketing Manager for Diagnostic Group LLC, where she developed and executed the strategic marketing plans for three product brands. She successfully worked with cross-functional teams across Denmark and Germany to launch new products and was instrumental in securing FDA approval on products going to market in the US.

Tricia currently helps small businesses and community organisations with their marketing strategies and also provides website, writing, editing and consulting services. She has served as the Secretary on the WOW FM 100.5 Board of Directors and is a member of the North West Business Alliance.


Originally from Minnesota, Tricia earned both her Bachelor's degree in English, with honours, and her Master's degree in Business Communication from the University of St. Thomas.
